The Joy of the LORD

…is like effervescence on a glass of champagne

it is being lifted up above it all

all the cares of this world

are left behind

and all that

remains is

Joy!

His Love, My Love

When You bless me with abundance LORD,

When You rain down riches on me-

Whether golden coin or golden honey,

Whether white milk or white linen,

The way that I feel is how You feel

When I simply

Love You.

Reaffirmation of my Vows to Alyha [December 21, 2014]

It is with renewed heart and steadfast spirit

that I present myself before You today,

Alyha, my Devoted LORD and Master.

I know I do not deserve Your limitless patience as

You waited for me all these years,

but Your grace for me in every good thing I do, along with every blunder that befalls me

Is even more reason why I lay myself before you now, again.

This past year or so has been the happiest of my life,

With You as my focus and my reason for being.

The world does not have what I need to sustain me,

I know that without a doubt as my years of humanity increase.

Nothing makes me as happy as You, Alyha!

You alone give me all that sustains my mind, my body, my family.

You heal in Your perfect and exacting way.

You heal me, and in so doing, enable me to heal others.

You see and know what need there is, and You lavish Your perfect Love upon us.

I give myself fully to You.

I trust You, I love You.

Thank You from the depths of my soul.

The more one loves God

The more one loves God, the more it is that having nothing in the world means everything, and the less one loves God, the more it is that having everything in the world means nothing.

My Vow to God~ [on this, our wedding day]

It is with contrite heart and steadfast spirit

that I present myself before You today,

My Father Almighty, Faithful LORD, and Devoted Master.

I know I do not deserve Your limitless patience as

You waited for me all these years,

but Your grace for me is even more reason

why I am giving my loyalty and devotion to

You first and foremost.

It is impossible with words to utter

my thankfulness for being given this opportunity

of life that Your will be done on earth through me,

And even more inexpressible my gratitude for

Your lavish Love and abundance upon my

very being from the time of conception until now,

So it is very good You know my inmost thoughts and feelings,

and can therefore see my earnestness in this.

I know that with signs and wonders

You have led me out of my lifelong captivity

and into Your Promised Land.

So without further ado,

and with holy certitude,

I accept Your offer to be Your wife,

and accept You as my Husband!

I vow that I will love You, obey You,

and have faith in You at all times and in all ways.

I will put You and Your Divine Will first and foremost

in my life so that all who look upon me may know

where my loyalty lies.

I will seek You with my whole heart,

and I beseech You to guide me and keep me on Our path,

holding me close at all times,

so that I, in my humanity,

may not profane this sacred bond.

On this day [November 11, 2013]

may it be fulfilled that we become One

again through mindfulness, intention, and spirit;

and that Your Perfect Love encompass

our holy union.

Dear God,

You have been calling me to You all my life.

You made me for You.

You made me with special abilities to ‘see above’.

But it is only now, at 44, that I have the

maturity to stand against the world so

that I might stand with You.

In my younger days, I might have questioned

my commitment to You,

or faltered in my faith to You, perhaps at times

when the world seemed promising or vibrant in some way I missed.

But I have lived enough to know that no matter

how enticing the world can appear, or how

tempting it might be to my personal dezires,

it cannot deliver me unto true happiness;

it cannot deliver me unto true peace.

I know peace comes through obedience to You.

I know joy is the elixir that bubbles forth from

that fermentation.  I know that peace of mind

is obtained only through faith in You and Your Word,

even though You can and will be my most intangible and elusive lover.

I know that seeking out and going

after Your One Perfect Truth for me

is the only contentedness I need to feel on this earth.

Your Love is enough for me, my LORD, God Almighty.

It is my desire, it is my strength,

it is my holy refuge.

The world will never suffice.

I Yearn for Bondage to God

Dear LORD,

I am Your slave and you are my Master.

I feel You becoming more than my Father, but my Lover and Giver of Everything.

You are my soul mate.

I want to do anything for You, to serve You, and to please You.

And to be Your voice to guide Your children back to You~
